Important Delivery Information
Delivery Estimates
Delivery times provided at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Once a shipment has been accepted by the carrier, transit times are outside of our control.
Delays may occur due to:
• Weather conditions
• Carrier operational delays
• Customs processing
• Peak seasonal shipping volumes
• Labor disruptions or other logistical factors
Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded solely due to carrier delays once the shipment has been dispatched.
Secure Buildings, Apartments, and Unit Deliveries
Customers living in apartments, condominiums, or buildings requiring buzzer access must ensure that their shipping address includes all necessary information such as:
• Unit numbers
• Buzzer codes
• Building access instructions
Carriers are often unable to access secured buildings or individual units. In these cases, parcels may be delivered to:
• Lobby drop areas
• Mailrooms
• Concierge desks
• Designated package locations within the building
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery location is safe and accessible.
Once the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout, Gut Protocols is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or misplaced after delivery.
Carrier proof of delivery will be considered confirmation that the shipment was successfully delivered.
Customers will receive an email notification with tracking information once delivery has been completed.
Delivery Location Recommendations
If you are concerned about package security, we recommend selecting a delivery location where someone is available to receive the parcel, such as:
• A workplace
• A concierge desk
• A trusted neighbor
• A carrier pickup location
This helps reduce the risk of lost or stolen packages.
Order Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within three business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Orders received after 12:00 PM (local time) may be processed on the next business day.
Orders placed before 1:00 PM (AST) are often shipped the same business day when possible.
Shipping Methods
At this time, Gut Protocols offers standard shipping only.
In the past we offered expedited shipping options; however, due to inconsistent delivery performance and a high volume of customer complaints regarding express services not meeting expected timelines, we have chosen to discontinue those options.
In many cases, expedited shipping provided only minimal delivery time improvements while significantly increasing shipping costs. To provide a more consistent and cost-effective experience for our customers, we currently ship using reliable standard delivery services.
Orders are shipped using reputable shipping providers selected based on destination, package weight, and size to ensure efficient and dependable delivery.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Timeframes
We currently offer one standard flat-rate shipping fee at checkout.
Estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout; however, these timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed delivery dates.
Shipping fees are non-refundable in the following cases:
• If a product is unwanted or returned (see our Return Policy for details)
• If a carrier does not meet estimated delivery timelines
• If delays occur due to weather conditions, customs processing, labor disputes, or other carrier operational factors
While we will assist with shipment tracking and carrier follow-ups when possible, transit delays are outside our direct control once a package has been accepted by the carrier.
Shipment Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and tracking instructions.
You can monitor your shipment directly through the carrier’s website using this tracking number.
Shipping Address Accuracy
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete shipping information at checkout, including apartment numbers, building names, or business names where applicable.
Gut Protocols is not responsible for:
• Undeliverable packages caused by incorrect addresses
• Packages returned due to incomplete address information
If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order.
International Shipping
We offer international shipping to select countries.
Additional customs duties, taxes, or import fees may apply depending on the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
International shipments may also be subject to customs inspection and clearance, which may cause delays beyond estimated delivery times.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your package arrives damaged or appears lost, please notify us within three days of receipt.
To begin the claims process we may require:
• Photographs of the damaged product or packaging
• A written description of the issue
• Carrier confirmation if a shipment is reported lost
We will work with the carrier to resolve the matter and provide an appropriate solution when applicable.
Rural and Remote Deliveries
In certain rural or remote locations, carriers may not complete final-mile delivery.
In some cases, shipments may be handed off to another local carrier to complete the final mile of delivery depending on regional service coverage.
Alternatively, your package may be held at the nearest carrier depot or pickup location if direct delivery is not available. The carrier will notify you if this applies to your shipment.
